Madness

My two girls keep playing this song and the rhythm and lyrics caught me and I thought it's one of the 80s songs. I can already hum along with the song like my favorite 80s songs. When I googled it, I was right.. it sounds like Queen's or Prince of  80s.  Em right, but it's  the Madness by  Muse,  the English alternative rock band.

According to NME, "Madness" draws influences from Queen's "I Want to Break Free", George Michael's "Faith" and some instrumental elements of his other hit "I Want Your Sex".  During a preview on French site Jeuxactu, the song was said to resemble Depeche Mode and described as 'calm, languid and sweet'.   (Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

I... I can't get this memories out of my mind.
And some kind of Madness,
Has started to evolve, mmn.

And I...
I tried so hard to let you go.
But some kind of Madness,
Is swallowing me whole, yeh.

I have finally seen the light.
And I...
have finally realized.
What you mean...
And now,
I need to know if it's real love.
Or is it just Madness,
Keeping us afloat, mmm.

And when I look back,
at all the crazy fights we have,
Like some kind of M-m-madness,
Was taking control, yeh.
And now I have finally seen the light,
And I... have finally realized,
What you need, mmm.
And now I have finally seen the end,
(I have seen the end)
And I'm... I'm expecting you to care,
(Expecting you to care)
And I... have finally seen the light,
(Have finally seen the light)
And I... have finally realized, (Realized)

(I NEED TO LOVE) x2

Capture me,
Trust in your dream,
Come on and rescue me.
Yes, I know,
I can't move on,
Baby, you're too head-strong.
Our love is...

I SUITES HOTEL FINALLY OPENS ITS DOORS IN CUBAO

Chic, modern, and no-frills. These are the qualities of the new iSuites Hotel, a 33-room, 5-story boutique hotel located on Imperial St. in Cubao. But if it were up to its chief executive officer, Mikaela Singson Mendoza, she would rather use the description: “personalized and original.” In the original blueprint, the hotel building was initially constructed as an apartment. At the time, the idea of a business that would bring in monthly income sounded more appealing and lucrative to Mikaela’s family. It was Mikaela’s mom, Sheila Singson, who thought of converting the apartment building into a hotel.

“My mom thought that I would be a right fit for this job,” narrates Mika. “I am studying Hotel and Restaurant Management at Treston International College. My dream was to be an F&B director of a big hotel. Never thought that I would be actually opening up a hotel of my own.” That sudden change of plans, consequently, brought forth big changes in the design and layout of the building.

“That’s why it took us three or four years to finish the whole thing because this was supposed to be an apartment. We had to knock down walls, re-do the floor layout, and other stuff,” Mikaela says. Deciding what theme to apply to the hotel interiors came easy. Mika and her mom just took a cue from the building’s location.

“This hotel is located on Imperial St. When you say Imperial, parang it sounds Japanese. So we thought of using Imperial Suites, but since there’s already an Imperial Suites in Quezon City, we just thought of using iSuites, and as we were building the hotel we unearthed bullets” explains Mikaela.

iSuites, still according to Mikaela, sounds younger, fresher, and up-to-date. Mikaela says that this is really how they want their hotel to be perceived by the public: a vibrant, modern hotel that knows the real needs of travelers.

“We just made the ‘i’ in the logo look more Asian, Oriental or Japanese, so that people when they see the logo, they would immediately think that the hotel is Asian-inspired,” she adds.

In keeping with the Japanese theme, Mika decided to assign certain terms that are associated with the Japanese culture to the hotel rooms instead of numbers.

“We didn’t use numbers. We call our rooms Kimono, Mikado, Sakura, Zen, Taka, Geisha, Shinden, Haiku, Emeperor, Shogun, Sake, and Geta,” explains Mikaela.

The Kimono rooms, the simplest of all the room types, have a double-sized bed, a false veranda and LCD TV with HD channels. Rates for this room start from P1,500. Mikaela says the Kimono room is for the no-frills type of guests, who just want a good bed to sleep in.

“It’s really simple. But of course, we wanted it to look good,” she adds. “Our rooms are personalized, they’re really designed with the needs of the guests in mind,” she says.

Guests staying in premium rooms (Sakura, Zen, Taka, Geisha, Shinden, Haiku, Emeperor, Shogun, Sake, and Geta) and the Mikado room, have safety boxes where they can keep their valuables. The Geta rooms and Sake rooms, whose rates start from P4, 900, are actually two-level units. They are equipped with their own living room, kitchenette, dining, mini bar, HD TV, double-sized beds and single beds and toilet and bathrooms.

All rooms come with free Wi-Fi access and with complimentary breakfast meals at the hotel’s restaurant, Tatami. At Tatami, guests can partake of Japanese food fare and other Asian dishes. “On weekdays, we have a lunch buffet serving home-cooked dishes, priced around P60 to P90 per dish. So it’s very affordable,” says Mika. “We also want to tap the officeworkers, because we’re very near the Araneta center, where there are lots of banks, call centers, and other offices.”

Good old Vigan favourites have also found their way into the Tatami menu. Mika, who hails from Ilocos Sur, says that the restaurant also offers bagnet, Vigan longganisa, and pakbet. “It’s nice when you have these dishes. There’s variety!” adds Mika.

iSuites also offers extended stays and long-term monthly rental accommodations. Rooms for this type of rental come with their own electric meters, so guests can monitor and take charge of their expenses on utilities. “What’s good about it is that guests can enjoy the same in-room services: housekeeping, cleaning, and all. We clean your room, we replenish your towels, we make your bed. So it’s like you’re living in a serviced apartment,” adds Mikaela. “Plus, we have huge discounts if they choose to stay longer than six months. After their sixth month, we’d give them a discount of up to forty percent.” Discount starts on the first month.

But the best selling point of iSuites, still according to Mika, is not seen. It is felt.

Mikaela believes that it’s their personalized service that would set them apart. “I want everything to be personalized. I am very hands-on. Even if I am still studying, I would take care of the little details. I would teach the housekeeping, the front office, tell my staff what to do and how to do things right,” says Mika. “That’s how we really want it. Personalized service.” For inquiries, bookings, and reservations, call 376 4750 or visit www.isuites.com.ph.

2012 Norton Study: Consumer Cybercrime Estimated at $110 Billion Annually

Norton by Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC) today released the findings of its annual Norton Cybercrime Report, one of the world’s largest consumer cybercrime studies. The study is aimed at understanding how cybercrime affects consumers, and how the adoption and evolution of new technologies impacts people’s security. With findings based on self-reported experiences of more than 13,000 adults across 24 countries, the 2012 edition of the Norton Cybercrime Report calculates the direct costs associated with global consumer cybercrime at US $110 billion over the past twelve months.

Every second, 18 adults become a victim of cybercrime , resulting in more than one-and-a-half million cybercrime victims each day on a global level. With losses totaling an average of US $197 per victim across the world in direct financial costs , cybercrime costs consumers more than a week’s worth of nutritious food necessities for a family of four . In the past twelve months, an estimated 556 million adults across the world experienced cybercrime, more than the entire population of the European Union. This figure represents 46 percent of online adults who have been victims of cybercrime in the past twelve months, on par with the findings from 2011 (45 percent).

Changing Face of Cybercrime
This year’s survey shows an increase in “new” forms of cybercrime compared to last year, such as those found on social networks or mobile devices - a sign that cybercriminals are starting to focus their efforts on these increasingly popular platforms. One in five online adults (21 percent) has been a victim of either social or mobile cybercrime, and 39 percent of social network users have been victims of social cybercrime, specifically:
  • 15 percent of social network users reported someone had hacked into their profile and pretended to be them.
  • 1 in 10 social network users said they’d fallen victim to a scam or fake link on social network platforms.
  • While 75 percent believe that cybercriminals are setting their sights on social networks, less than half (44 percent) actually use a security solution which protects them from social network threats and only 49 percent use the privacy settings to control what information they share, and with whom.
  • Nearly one-third (31 percent) of mobile users received a text message from someone they didn’t know requesting that they click on an embedded link or dial an unknown number to retrieve a “voicemail”.

“Cybercriminals are changing their tactics to target fast growing mobile platforms and social networks where consumers are less aware of security risks,” says Jason Mok, Country Sales Manager, Philippines, Norton by Symantec. “This mirrors what we saw in this year’s Symantec Internet Security Threat Report which reported nearly twice the mobile vulnerabilities in 2011from the year before.”

The 2012 Norton Cybercrime Report also reveals that most Internet users take the basic steps to protect themselves and their personal information - such as deleting suspicious emails and being careful with their personal details online. However, other core precautions are being ignored: 40 percent don’t use complex passwords or change their passwords frequently and more than a third do not check for the padlock symbol in the browser before entering sensitive personal information, such as banking details, online.

In addition, this year’s report also indicates that many online adults are unaware as to how some of the most common forms of cybercrime have evolved over the years and thus have a difficult time recognizing how malware, such as viruses, act on their computer. In fact, 40 percent of adults do not know that malware can operate in a discreet fashion, making it hard to know if a computer has been compromised, and more than half (55 percent) are not certain that their computer is currently clean and free of viruses.

“Malware and viruses used to wreak obvious havoc on your computer,” Mok continues. “You’d get a blue screen, or your computer would crash, alerting you to an infection. But cybercriminals’ methods have evolved; they want to avoid detection as long as possible. This year’s results show that nearly half of Internet users believe that unless their computer crashes or malfunctions, they’re not 100 percent sure they’ve fallen victim to such an attack.”

Strong Email Passwords Still Key More than a quarter (27 percent) of online adults report having been notified to change their password for a compromised email account. With people sending, receiving, and storing everything from personal photos (50 percent) to work-related correspondence and documents (42 percent) to bank statements (22 percent) and passwords for other online accounts (17 percent), those email accounts can be a potential gateway for criminals looking for personal and corporate information.

“Personal email accounts often contain the keys to your online kingdom. Not only can criminals gain access to everything in your inbox, they can also reset your passwords for any other online site you may use by clicking the ‘forgot your password’ link, intercepting those emails and effectively locking you out of your own accounts,” Mok. “Protect your email accordingly by using complex passwords and changing them regularly.”

New MICHELIN tire technology helped make London’s public bus system safer

Michelin, the pioneering brand in electronic tire development, made London’s public bus transits safe and ready for the summer Olympics crowd, with tires equipped with Michelin’s latest innovation in tire technology. Called Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Chips, the new technology allows for quick, safe and efficient evaluation of tire conditions.

The new “communicating” tires provide a breakthrough solution to improving road safety. Combining the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and RFID chips installed in the tire, the device helps check the tire pressure and conditions and link to a data processing system. After seven years of thorough testing and research plus thousands of manufactured chips that validate test phases, the technology was introduced to 85% of London’s city buses in time for the 30th Olympic Games.

The small RFID chips require no batteries and instead are activated by the radio waves it receives during scanning. The users may input their own data and update them as well. It can last longer than the tire itself, shave time in vehicle maintenance and provide cost-efficient vehicle operations.

With Michelin’s “communicating” tires, the transit operators only need to use an electronic reader that automatically gathers information about the tire’s condition and history. Now, instead of physical check-ups that may be dangerous to the operators, a more reliable system of monitoring tire conditions guarantee that the passenger vehicle tires will last longer, be more accurately traceable, reduce fuel consumption and avoid the need for frequent and costly replacements.

The Michelin Group: A major player in the British urban transport system The figures speak for themselves. With 33,000 buses covered by service contracts (representing 80% of the country’s bus market) and a 100% market share for four of the five largest British bus transport companies and a 50% share for the fifth, Michelin is eminently qualified to provide bus fleets with end-to-end tire management solutions.

What’s more, 85% of all London buses are fitted with MICHELIN tires. More than just buses, these highly original vehicles – with their bright red color so well-liked by tourists – play both a symbolic and an indispensable role in urban mobility and at the same time are rightly considered to be one of the city’s cultural assets

The Right Tires can Save You Fuel

Getting the best deal out of driving your car can be had if you know the right ways of taking care of your baby on wheels. And one way is to fit your vehicle with the right type of tires, and this can really help you save on gas and bring more mileage to your ride. MICHELIN tires offer you some tips that can make you get the most of your car.

Make sure your tires are properly inflated
Under-inflated tires have higher rolling resistance, and waste more fuel. Rolling resistance is the amount of force required for a tire to move at a constant speed. Make it a practice to check your tire pressure at least once every month to improve gas mileage by more than 3 percent. Remember to let the tires cool down before taking measurements to avoid getting a false reading, since heat increases pressure.

Go easy on the accelerator and brakes
Sudden acceleration consumes a lot of gas, and so does sudden braking. When approaching a red light, keep your foot away from the accelerator pad and instead keep a slow speed and a considerable distance from other cars, so you don’t slam on the brakes at the last minute. Decelerating keeps your car’s inertia (since you did not come to a full stop) and thus you don/t have to gather as much speed when traffic moves again.

Lose the excess baggage
A loaded car burns more fuel. As much as possible, do not store heavy equipment, tools, and other unnecessary items in your trunk. Even the extra luggage on top of the roof increases the wind resistance of your car and makes it use up more gas. Be bright, go light.

Windows up, windows down
Know how to use the car air conditioner wisely. Turning off the air conditioner and rolling down the windows when driving at a low speed gives you a bonus mile per gallon of gas. And surprise, surprise! Keeping the air conditioner on while driving at high speed actually improves fuel economy.

Switch to MICHELIN fuel-efficient tires
Select a good type of tires to use on your vehicle, considering factors such as city driving, off-road driving, weather conditions like the summer or rainy seasons, the make of your car(SUV, sedan or truck). Fuel-efficient tires have excellent tread depth for lower rolling resistance, better braking and handling, and reduce the heat generated from driving.

MICHELIN offers a wide range of tires that can cater to these needs, and delivers top-quality products that always deliver safety, fuel efficiency and long-lasting tires. You can even check what type of tire will best suit your specifications. Visit www.michelin.com.ph for more information.

MICHELIN and Audi: pioneers of hybrid technology in motorsport

Six years after taking diesel technology to the top of the podium at the Le Mans 24 Hours, Audi and its partner MICHELIN have now won the world’s most famous endurance racing together using diesel/electric hybrid technology, the local Michelin office announced. André Lotterer, Marcel Fassler and Benoît Tréluyer won the 80th edition of the French race driving the N°1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro.

As winner of the inaugural Le Mans 24 Hours in 1923, MICHELIN had a clear mission for the competition’s 80th edition: to support the bid of its partners Audi and Toyota to race hybrid technology in world class motorsport. MICHELIN’s response to that challenge was the development of a brand new range of tyres, including a new ‘slick/intermediate’ solution for the LMP1 prototypes.

The action during the race’s first six hours showcased the Audi R18 e-tron quattro, the R18 ultra and the Toyota TS030 Hybrid before the Japanese make’s return to Le Mans – after a 13-year absence – was prematurely terminated by a variety of incidents. With all four of its prototypes still running, Audi only had to finish to collect the brand’s 11th victory at Le Mans.

The result produced the fifth all-Audi/MICHELIN podium at the French race since 2000, while MICHELIN took its score to a record-breaking run of 15 consecutive successes since 1998.

MICHELIN also dominated the LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am classes. In the former, its partners Corvette, Aston Martin and Ferrari took turns to lead, although victory finally went to the N°51 AF Corse Ferrari of FISICHELLA/BRUNI/VILANDER. The LM GTE category was won by the N°50 Larbre Competition Corvette, ahead of the N°67 IMSA Porsche. Both two hold special importance for MICHELIN inasmuch as they enable a direct carryover of technologies developed in racing to its road tyres.

This weekend saw MICHELIN lay the foundations for the future of motorsport, too, through its involvement with the futuristic Nissan-DeltaWing prototype which was invited to contest the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours in the ‘experimental’ class.

To equip this unique car, MICHELIN’s engineers developed specific, revolutionary front tyres just 10cm wide and weighing only 5kg each, which are twice as durable yet capable of safely reaching speeds of more than 300kph. The Nissan-DeltaWing succeeded in regularly lapping faster than the target time established by the ACO (race organisers) before being edged off the track by another car on its 76th lap.

I posted an article few months ago about my favorite band who happened to live in my neighborhood.   Two months after posting the article, I saw my link  in Drayber's Band Fan Page. I was a little surprised and  didn't expect  it at all.   I posted  the screen shot  of  their page with  my link and message:   "Wonderful blog, thank you,  next time just approach us,  we don't bite."
When I covered an event in Resorts World along with blogger friends, I told them that Draybers Band  regularly perform in the venue.  I tried to take a video but the guard stopped me for  security purposes. I was dismayed but nevertheless understood that they  were just performing their duties.  I just regret that I went home without a photo or  video of  the band. I've been telling my friends about  them and I want them to witness  how they actually perform live.
Anyways, hear is another video that I saw online.  Please watch their new video  "Help" Bring the Draybers to The Ellen Show.   I hope that the band reach their dream,  to perform live at the show.

Somebody that I Used to Know

Somebody That I Used To Know

Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end
Always the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well you said that we would still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough
You didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over
But had me believing it was always something that I'd done
And I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
You said that you could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know...

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough
You didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

I used to know
That I used to know

Somebody...

Buy Eyeglasses Online: Vision & Fashion the Frugal Way

A month ago, CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) published a piece of news about purchasing eyeglasses online; a month later, this news has already been commented on by thousands of people. With the rise of purchasing eyeglasses online, more and more eyeglass wearers have begun to focus their attention on it. However, with regard to buying eyewear online, some support it while others still have doubts about it. What has turned numerous eyeglass wearers from traditional brick-and-mortar eyeglass stores to online ones? Firmoo's slogan tells you everything: Vision and Fashion the Frugal Way.

Most eyeglasses wearers have purchased eyeglasses at traditional eyeglass stores. Nevertheless, due to the limited styles and unaffordable prices, consumers have had to regard eyeglasses as a medical tool used to correct vision instead of a fashion accessory. But now, with the emergence of online eyeglass shopping, we can get fashionable eyeglasses at reasonable prices. Among the many online eyeglass stores, Firmoo, which combines fashion and economy, is undoubtedly the most outstanding one.

As we all know, we usually have to spend hundreds of dollars on a pair of glasses at brick-and-mortar eyeglass stores. Yet, you can get the same pair of glasses from online eyeglass stores at a fraction of the price. For this reason, buying glasses online is, so to speak, quite an economical way to get eyeglasses. Among the numerous online optical stores, Firmoo is the most economic one. Customers can usually get their beloved glasses at a price that is up to 90% lower than that in brick-and-mortar eyeglass stores. Furthermore, new customers can even get their first pair for FREE there. Some people may doubt the quality, safety, durability, etc. of eyeglasses purchased online, but there is no need to worry when purchasing from Firmoo. Firstly, all glasses provided by Firmoo are carefully manufactured by skilled workers and are strictly inspected by professional opticians before shipment, thus ensuring the quality and safety of glasses; secondly, Firmoo has developed a try-on tool for customers to try their beloved eyeglasses on so as to see how they look on them; thirdly, Firmoo has a customer service team that has always been committed to offering their valued customers the best service; lastly, all glasses available at Firmoo are provided by their affiliated factory, which is why they can offer eyeglasses at such a low price.

"We have dozens of affiliated eyeglasses factories which enable us to provide our customers with the most affordable eyeglasses around because there are no middlemen in between. Meanwhile, we have devoted ourselves to providing our valued customers with fashionable and aesthetic eyeglasses," said Patrick Li, Firmoo's CEO.

Compared with purchasing eyeglasses at brick-and-mortar eyeglass stores, purchasing eyeglasses online is not only more economical but also enables customers to select from more fashion elements. This is due to Firmoo meticulously picking several hundred classic styles from thousands of eyeglass models.

Firmoo CEO Patrick Li also added, "Our team has selected hundreds of classical and fashionable styles in order to save time for our customers when they are picking eyeglasses."

So what do online eyeglass stores bring to us? We believe the answer is fashion and frugality.

Surviving and Succeeding in Video Production

Surviving and Succeeding in Video Production

The world of video production exists on the cutting edge of technology and culture. The industry is in constant motion: finding the ‘next-big-thing’ and dumping the ‘has-been.’ Professionals in the field have to ride the wave if they want to stay relevant and working.

Personal abilities, and their demonstration, are the basis of the business. Even in this modern era of digital filmmaking, most people find work through their networks, and rely on their reputations to secure future offers. To be a viable candidate, a producer of videos has to demonstrate professionalism, ability, and experience.

Experience is the most important factor, and also the hardest to gain. In the overcrowded industry, finding an opportunity to prove oneself can be daunting. Luckily, new developments in technology and culture encourage the success of independent video producers.

Cheap digital equipment makes production simpler, and budgets lower. More and more videos are made, creating greater opportunities for practice and demonstration. The Internet provides a stage for showcasing work and advertising abilities. And recent trends in popular entertainment have embraced the role of the viral amateur. But these new opportunities alone do not guarantee success.

The best insurance for prosperity in video production comes in professional education. People looking to obtain such an education can learn more about specialized schools  that provide inexpensive and thorough instruction, turning the amateur enthusiast into an expert professional. The in-demand skills of graduates with advanced training guarantees employment in the highly competitive industry.

Most video production occurs among three fields:

  • Corporate

  • Entertainment

  • Marketing

The style and purpose of each field is unique. But across all types of productions, the same need for expertise exists. An expert in one aspect of video production can expect repeated employment in different fields of the industry.

Every video crew needs specialists in cameras, editing, lighting, writing, and many others. Presenting a single field of specialty, and backing up the claim with demonstrated skills, establishes a video-maker as valuable and reliable.

One of most in demand specialties is sound engineer. Sound might be one of the last things you notice in a video, and that's because a highly trained expert has seamlessly matched audio with image. It's a challenging occupation, but reliable for those with experience and knowledge. Most of that knowledge comes from thorough an education in audio production where a student learns their trade, and gains important experience.

But teaching yourself how to aim a camera is one thing; knowing the intricacies of a trade is another. This is what separates the professionals from the amateurs. Competing in video production is only possible after a candidate has been distinguished from those around him.

In video production, the obsession with trends has led towards a frenzy for the viral. Every new member of the industry has to demonstrate a familiarity with these modern priorities. But, even more importantly, a professional has to display a skill-set capable of high-grade work. The need for expertise is never ending, and a qualified specialist will always be the presence behind successful video productions.

The meeting of these two trends – the new and the old – defines the industry’s need for new material that meets high industry standards. The business of video production will remain excitingly unpredictable, but will always rely on skilled professionals crafting new visions of the cutting edge.

When Asthma Attacks

What to do when asthma attacks?

Below are some helpful tips and items that can help when asthma attacks.

My 13-year old daughter has been suffering from asthma since she was a little kid. She was confined twice in the hospital when she was young because of this condition.

Malunggay tea ( Moringa Oleifera) is a natural medicine for asthma. Although I haven't tried this yet for my older daughter, many attested that it works good among people who are suffering from asthma.

Nebulizer. Daughter uses this kind of treatment as prescribed by her doctor whenever breathing becomes difficult for her. She uses nebulizer at least four times a day or every two hours when needed.

Rota haler. She always carry this in her bag especially when asthma shows signs, ready to attack anytime. It is very convenient as it only needs one inhaling time and takes only a few seconds to finish.

Most people with asthma already know what to do as it shows symptoms first before it occurs. In my daughter's case, the sudden change of weather, polen, dust and warm weather easily lead her to a series of attacks. When the weather is too hot to bear, she stays indoor and switch the air conditioner into high cool when possible to make her breathing at ease. Having a 13-year old daughter with asthma, I already know how to manage and deal with it properly. Steroid was given to her once or twice when her wheezing was so bad. The doctor explained to me the many side effects using this kind of treatment.

People with asthma can live a normal life too. Just avoid everything that will trigger the asthma. It can be fatal if the condition is severe and when the proper medication is not given to the patient.

It isn't true that asthma stops when a kid reaches seven or when he/she becomes an adult. Maybe, attacks will be lessened but it is a kind of allergy that keeps coming back over and over again. The best cure is to prevent it to happen and keep away from things that will trigger the attack.

Trending Pick Up Lines

Because tomorrow is Valentine's Day, here's something cheesy for my readers. Pick up lines become a trend today. The cornier pick up, the better.

Pick Up Lines

Boy : Sibuyas ka ba?
Neneng : Bakit?
Boy : Kasi kung nasasaktan man kita
napapaiyak mo naman ako...

Boy: EDSA ka ba?
Neneng: Bakit?
Boy: Kasi, di ako makapag move on.

Pinoy are the happiest people in the world that they get happiness even from pick up lines. Senator Mirriam Santiago is known for her funny pick up, taray lines and quotes and shared some of those in her public speeches.

You may share you pick up lines now. So, what's yours?

Online Betting

Are you fond of watching movies? If yes, what movies do you prefer? I bet it depends on your mood on a certain day. What about movies with some tricks? Some people love to try this kind of game. I have been watching lately the films where bet on sports are the highlights of the movie. I've tried once betting in a boxing sports but it was another kind of thing. Although, this is sometimes addicting, you surely will find yourself enjoying it and you won't even take notice of the time and the amount of money you have invested.

How about going online? If you are lazy enough to drive yourself out of your house  with ceramic tiles, you may try online betting on sports. You'll save enough time because all it needs is just a click of the mouse to get you into the game. There are some prominent personalities who are deeply involved in this activity. I swear, if given the chance, I surely would join the game too, why not? It is more fun and it will keep your mind active too.

World of Warcraft

Some people love playing online games. Oh well, they enjoyed it that much and get addicted into it. I must admit my online world consumed much of my time and sometimes I want to try playing games too. Blogging plus playing games would be so much fun I but I guess I need to be more organized first and do it when I'm not really busy or while my children are still at school. I was intrigued with this online game and thought about posting it here. Please see the graphics below and find out more about World of Warcraft.

Perfectly Failed

Posted here are photos taken inside Fort Santiago when we visited last December 30, Rizal Day. Almost a perfect day with perfectly failed photos at the park.

With one hand holding my 3-year old nephew and the other hand with a camera, it's quite impossible to take a perfect shot.

Posed for a wrong group and a wrong camera. It could have been my nephew's perfect smile if he only posed in the right lens of camera. lol
Could've been a perfect day with perfect shoes to walk in the park. It has already served its purpose. Let my sandals put to rest.
The souvenir items at the Rizal Shrine just saved my day. Ain't my outfit perfect for Rizal era? My blue polish and my new blue slipper. What a perfect match. Lol

Perfect pose served as a background.
Almost perfect with only half of the horse captured.

Oh my geesh, almost perfect for a whole body shot in slim angle.
So there. I'll post more decent photos in my next post.

Best New Wave Actor JM de Guzman

JM de Guzman truly deserved the award, "Best New Wave Actor." I've been watching "Angelito," where he leads this afternnon tele-drama and I could say that he really is a good actor who acts naturally in front of camera. It was my first time to attend the Metro Manila Film Festival awards night last week so I was excited and took all the photos I could get of some known showbiz personalities especially JM de Guzman for my nieces who are a big fan of this young promising actor. Congratulations JM de Guzman !
