Tawa Tawa and Mosquito Repellent Patch

I did not know before that the photo above is Tawa Tawa. We have lots of those in our province. Many dengue patients attested that this plant/weed can cure dengue but DOH did not recommend Tawa Tawa but instead they advise the patients to rehydrate themselves at once and go to the hospital for proper treatment.

Right now, DOH is still studying whether Tawa Tawa can be used for patients who are being feared of carrying virus from mosquito bites. They warned that Tawa Tawa is not scientifically proven as herbal that can treat dengue, thus, should not be used as alternative medicine. In my own opinion, Tawa Tawa is safe but it is always best to consult a doctor when diagnosed or suspected with dengue fever.

I always put a mosquito patch in my daughters' uniform or socks as an additional preventive measure when going to school. Somehow, it helps and protects them from mosquito bites.

Long Weekend and Mina!

Another long weekend awaits everyone! it actually starts now, TGIF. August 29 and 30 fall on Monday and Tuesday, thus 4-day long weekend. Palace announced 4-day weekend long before as celebration of National Heroes' Day on August 29 while August 30 as end of Ramadan. So, what are you up this long weekend?

Mina, as reported by PAGASA is currently lashing the northern part, even intensified the storm to signal number 4. The storm is expected to leave the PAR by Tuesday. We have waited for this long weekend to come, so please spare the nation and exit immediately, we've had enough of rainfall this year.

This blog maintains its page rank for several Google updates. I am freaking blogging addict, yep, that this blog has sprouted into few branches, thus site with its own niche. (food, personal, fashion and general blog) What I love about this blog, even though updating seems to be as rare as rainfall on a deserted island, still it gained a higher rank. It seems that online world is loving me more with all the new discoveries and I am enjoying it so much and it gets me excited every time.

There are always ideas out there to improve our work and ourselves continually. For example, anyone can take computer classes through online colleges, that are flexible and affordable. The more you know, the bigger the pay-off.

New Facebook Chat System

I am kind of confused with the changes of Facebook chat system. I rarely use my chat box in my Facebook. I only click available when I want to check if any member of family is online. Today, all my instant messages went directly to my inbox and I was online. Why?

I love the top of the list system but even offline friends were there at the chat box. Ok, I am no expert in using Facebook. I just want to like and want all my friends' request by liking their pages, aside from updating my status which I rarely do.

Another thing why I don't open my chat box, it turns my pages loading real slow.

I need SEO!

This blog is PR3 and has retained its PR for more than a year now. I sometimes want to click emails offering opportunities about SEO to keep my blog on top of search engine. But it's all spammers and I guess one wrong click and surely my account will be hacked. I guess, I should hire a SEO Consultant instead for detailed information on how it really works. I've read some updates in my social networking site about this thing. For over three years in blogging, I got to learn few tips on how Google will keep my blog on top. There are in fact a lot of things to consider not only by simply updating my blogs. Basically, learning how HTML works and tweaking blogs should be the basic thing before you proceed to the next level.
