Victims of Sendong Need Your Help

I am deeply saddened. Few days before Christmas, a tragedy happened in some areas in Mindanao. Watching the footages and photos of the victims really break my heart. I can't bear to look at the pictures. Most of them were children drowned in a muddy water. I only got the news online and other information from the updates of my co-bloggers about the total damage and the devastation left by the tropical storm. I guess most of the victims were unprepared. It's the first time in the history because the area is seldom visited by the storm. The flash flood came like a thief in the night. It was fast, scary, a real nightmare. Some of the victims were my co-PMC member who lost their properties and even businesses. They climbed to the roof of the house and others evacuated to a two-storey building to survive. Sendong reminds me of Ondoy, scary!
Members of PMC may coordinate with admin Ruby Ricafrente for any help you can extend. No amount is too small or too big. Please help. Donate!

7 Photos You Shouldn't Post Online if You Lied to Your Life Insurance Company

Not much is to be kept private nowadays, especially when you make the choice to broadcast your life on Facebook, Twitter, or other social media sites and blogs. The reality is, that everyone can access private information about you at any time, whether you have "friended" them or not. Since social media sites are relatively new, there is much to be learned about what is appropriate information to flaunt, and what might be best kept among close friends and family. Kids aren't the only ones getting into trouble over Facebook. Adults, too, are now finding that companies can find out personal information easily, and use it against them.

Life insurance companies are an example of an agency that might be interested in someone's "status." Yes, they are checking up on clients to make sure the lives they are living match with the coverage they are paying for. Life insurance companies will notice those pictures of ski racing down a mountain, running a marathon, or perhaps you posted for weeks on end about your health problems. Buyers beware, and think twice before posting something that could damage the cheap life insurance rates you're paying now.

Extreme Sports

Unless you have notified your life insurance company about your tendency to participate in dangerous adventures, do not post pictures of anything potentially dangerous. Skydiving, whitewater rafting, hang gliding, or any other life-threatening activity might be considered dangerous by your life insurance company, causing them to up your rates.

Medical Procedures

Avoid posting pictures of any medical procedures that would put you in a higher-risk category.

Photos Showing Weight Gained

Life insurance will cost more if you are obese. If you lied about your weight, or gained a substantial amount of weight since obtaining your policy, do not post pictures that prove this.

Smokers also pay more for life insurance. Maybe you only smoke occasionally, or tend to quit and take it up again on a regular basis. When you signed up for life insurance, you were sure you were done for good. And then you weren't. Do not post pictures of yourself holding a cigarette for your life insurance company to find.

General Poor Health

Any pictures that paint a scene of general poor health, partying, or other unsafe behavior should also not be posted. If you have a series of pictured posted that paint you as someone who is engages in unhealthy or risky behaviors on a regular basis, this does not bode well for you or your reputation.

Occupation-Related Photos

If you changed to a high-risk career after filling out a life insurance application, such as police officer, fire fighter, construction worker, or other dangerous type jobs, avoid posting pictures of yourself hard at work.

Your Kitchen Mate

Whether it is summer or cold season, smoothies remain to be a favorite refreshment for all of us. And because we live in a tropical country, we always include this for our quick snack. It is just so easy to prepare with Hamilton Beach Blenders where people find it more convenient even if they want to bring it along with them for their out of town trips. With the very affordable price, this could be the best gift for this Christmas season for anybody or for a mom like me who aspires to be a chef.

These days, we need to be more practical in buying appliances. If you are planning to buy for your kitchen, consider Hamilton Beach Coffee Makers where the price is considerably light in your pocket. Finding the right appliances could be easy if you think that the amount is within your budget. There are several brands and model out in the market. Think about the quality first and always check if it fits your kitchen needs or if it suits the design to match with other appliances.

Sponge Cola Fourth Album Araw Oras Tagpuan

Sponge Cola just recently released its fourth Album Araw Oras Tagpuan.
Sharing here is a video of Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay from their new album shot entirely in Sitio Cogon and Hda. Sta. Rosalia, Manapla, Negros Occidental directed by Yael's brother, Yanny Yuzon.

I love the concept of the video showcasing the simplicity and the beautiful life in the province.

Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay

Hawakan mo ang aking kamay at tayong dalawa'y
Maghahasik ng kaligayahan
Bitawan mong unang salita
Ako ay handa ng tumapak sa lupa

Tapos na ang paghihintay nandito kana
O sya'y naiinip magdahandahan
Sinasamsam bawat gunita

Oh giliw unting ika'y pagbigyan
Tototoo ang iyong ligalig
Oh anung ligayang may sumama sa atin

Nais ko lang bumitbit
Sa saliw ng iyong tinig

Parang isang panaginip
Ang muling mapagbigyan
Tayo'y muling magkasama
Ang dati ay baliwala

Wala na ang anung oras kung
Ika'y kapaling kita
Oh kay tagal kitang hinintay (2x)

Ligaya mo'y nasa huli
Sambit ng iyong mga labi

Parang isang panaginip
Ang muling mapagbigyan
Tayo'y muling magkasama
Ang dati ay baliwala
Ang dati ay baliwala

Muling mapagbigyan
Tayo'y muling magkasama
Ang dati ay baliwala

Wala na ang anung oras kung
Ika'y kapaling kita
Oh kay tagal kitang hinintay (2x)

Steve Jobs passed away

At the age of 56, the Apple chairman and former CEO who made personal computers, smartphones, tablets and digital animation mass-market products passed away on October 5, 2011 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer.

Goodbye Mr. Jobs, may your soul rest in peace!

When it rains, it pours

Pedring, Quiel and Ramon are just not very good in choosing the date to visit the country. While Pedring just exited, Quiel thought all the way that there is still a dam left for him to fill up. Far from his thought, all the dams in Northern Luzon already reached their spilling level. I only wish that Ramon will visit when the soil is totally dried up or at least few weeks time to recover and when the soil is ready to absorb the rain water again.

Comida China de Manila throws victory party for the UP Pep Squad

Comida China de Manila, formerly known as Panciteria San Jacinto-Pasig and the metro’s favourite blow-out and celebration place, threw a victory party for the University of the Philippines Varsity Pep Squad recently.

Fresh from their triple victory in the recently held 2011 Samsung UAAP Cheerdance Competition, the UP Pep arrived 100-strong at the restaurant serving traditional Chinatown food, still sporting their sensational platinum blonde hair and peppy attitude.

The “UP Pep” was accompanied at the dinner by UP College of Human Kinetics Dean Leilani Gonzalo, former Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs Grace Gregorio, head coach Lalaine (Coach Lala) Pereña and assistant coaches NJ Antonio and Pio Niño Opinaldo.
The UP Pep won first place in the prestigious Samsung Cheerdance Competition on September 17 in back-to-back fashion, now bringing their title total to 7, just one crown away from the University of Santo Tomas with 8. At the same competition, the UP Pep Squad took home all the other awards to be won : the first crown of the inaugural Samsung Group Stunts Competition and the Samsung Stunner of the Day title, care of “blonde” looker Nezsa Salvador.

The platinum blonde look was the peg for the Pep Squad’s Madonna-inspired number that was “crisp, athletic and creative, with trademark throws and athletic moves” that was pure UP Pep Squad.
Comida China, (owned by the Torres Family who also run Mom and Tina Bakery Cafe and the Red Rickshaw in San Fernando, Pampanga), pulled off all the stops in paying tribute to the back-to-back champs. “Such a significant achievement deserves to be celebrated with a full-course Chinese lauriat,” said Comida China de Manila president Benny V. Torres.

“We always strive for excellence in our food and service, that is why we salute the excellence that the UP Pep Squad showed in their performance last Saturday. Their commitment and discipline inspires us to always do our best in all that we do. We are happy to honor them with this dinner, as they honor us here with their presence,” said Benny Torres, who said the tradition of celebrating triumphs and victories invites more triumphs and victories.
After some sampling of cheers and lifts for the benefit of the media present, the UP Pep thanked everyone for their support and pledged to come back next year with something better than their best. They also invited everyone to support them in their next adventure : the 6th Cheerleading World Championship in Hong Kong on November 26-27 where the UP Pep Squad hopes to bring honor not just to UP but to the entire country.

“We hope the event will help introduce and recognize the Philippines more in international cheerleading events and showcase our Filipino cheerleaders as well. It is truly an honor for us to be part of the very first Philippine cheering squad to represent our country in a world cheerleading event,” Coach Lala said.

Online Auction

I am thinking of selling my semi-pro camera online and advertise it in a website for online auction. The camera is still in good condition with only a year in my hand, complete with all the accessories in the package. I am planning to buy a new gadget this weekend if everything permits. I want to dispose first this camera so I can use the amount of money for trading. I already have decided on what model to buy if ever I close the deal this weekend.

When you actually see a website with variety of products for auction, would you easily grab the opportunity? Of course, not! You need to check and verify the website first. It is always best to conduct a little research and review because there's scam that could lead you sometimes into something that you never wish to happen. I hope that everything will turn out good this weekend.

TYPHOON PEDRING; Suspension of classes

Repost from @DepEd_PH twitter account: Classes in NCR will remain suspended tomorrow, Sept 27, for kinder, elementary and high school, for both private and public schools.

I'm glad that announcement of suspension made it earlier today. I don't need to wake up early or stay late tonight for latest PAGASA update. It was the same day two years ago when Ondoy hit the whole metro. Today the rain was non-stop, but no flooding has been reported as of yet. Thank God, we only pray for a small amount of rain, just enough to fill the dam and not to overflow again like that of Ondoy.

Authentic Chinese Dishes at Comida China de Manila

We call it a "C " experience because of the many Cs that Comida China de Manila has. For others, it could be their comfort food or convenient dining. For me, Comida China describes many things in one word, countless! Countless, that I can't post here the many reasons why you should experience Comida China de Manila for your dining like we do, celebrating your anniversary, a grand or a simple celebration.

Their facilities are now upgraded and the food quality are enhanced yet their prices remain unchanged. You can dine in the finest Chinese restaurant with authentic Chinese dishes without having to leave the country and it's right here in Manila. The Comida Chefs only use the top grade and freshest ingredients for their menu. Comida dishes are authentic pre-war Chinese food of Binondo.

One of the facilities that I look for in a restaurant is the entertainment where the family can also enjoy the music inside the function room. ^-^

In today's age of technology, Comida China changed its name from Panciteria San Jacinto so that they can reach out to younger generations too. Then Panciteria San Jacinto, now Comida China de Manila , the restaurant name says it all!

The function room with Coca Cola collections caught my attention while we were at the restaurant while the other room has a few collections too which are really great for photo ops.

Fabulous Hallway from Main Dining going to the Function Rooms and Kitchen.

“It’s part of our mixed culture. The food itself and the names of the dishes are all part of our history. Perhaps through our new name we will be able to make younger generations become more aware and proud of our colourful past and the interwoven influences in our history,” Mr. Benny Torres said, the owner of Comida China de Manila.

Wifi is available for busy diners who can't stay offline for a while and those who work 24/7.

For more details about Comida China de Manila, Please visit Comida China de Manila on Faceboook or call 671-5942, 914-0832 and 914-0830.

My dining experience was simply remarkable hat I can still taste the Comida China Chow Mein during our last pig-out, I mean food tasting. I know I will be back very soon for these cravings and I will try again another menu. This time, with my whole family for a get together on one weekend. I want them to experience dining at Comida China de Manila.

Giant Crocodile Captured in Agusan del Sur

A 21-foot long 2375 pounds giant crocodile was captured from a river in Barangay Era in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur early morning of Sunday. Officials of the the said town are planning to make it as a tourist attraction in a planned eco-tourism park.

It took the hunters about three weeks before they finally captured the giant crocodile which the experts believed as the largest crocodile ever captured alive in the past years. Although the crocodile killed a water buffalo as witnessed by the villagers last month, experts said that there's no traces yet to believe that the giant crocodile also ate the missing fisherman.

Tawa Tawa and Mosquito Repellent Patch

I did not know before that the photo above is Tawa Tawa. We have lots of those in our province. Many dengue patients attested that this plant/weed can cure dengue but DOH did not recommend Tawa Tawa but instead they advise the patients to rehydrate themselves at once and go to the hospital for proper treatment.

Right now, DOH is still studying whether Tawa Tawa can be used for patients who are being feared of carrying virus from mosquito bites. They warned that Tawa Tawa is not scientifically proven as herbal that can treat dengue, thus, should not be used as alternative medicine. In my own opinion, Tawa Tawa is safe but it is always best to consult a doctor when diagnosed or suspected with dengue fever.

I always put a mosquito patch in my daughters' uniform or socks as an additional preventive measure when going to school. Somehow, it helps and protects them from mosquito bites.

Page Rank 3

This blog maintains its page rank for several Google updates. I am freaking blogging addict, yep, that this blog has sprouted into few branches, thus site with its own niche. (food, personal, fashion and general blog) What I love about this blog, even though updating seems to be as rare as rainfall on a deserted island, still it gained a higher rank. It seems that online world is loving me more with all the new discoveries and I am enjoying it so much and it gets me excited every time. There are always ideas out there to improve our work and ourselves continually. For example, anyone can take computer classes through online colleges that are flexible and affordable. The more you know, the bigger the pay-off.

New Facebook Chat System

I am kind of confused with the changes of Facebook chat system. I rarely use my chat box in my Facebook. I only click available when I want to check if any member of family is online. Today, all my instant messages went directly to my inbox and I was online. Why?

I love the top of the list system but even offline friends were there at the chat box. Ok, I am no expert in using Facebook. I just want to like and want all my friends' request by liking their pages, aside from updating my status which I rarely do.

Another thing why I don't open my chat box, it turns my pages loading real slow.

I need SEO!

This blog is PR3 and has retained its PR for more than a year now. I sometimes want to click emails offering opportunities about SEO to keep my blog on top of search engine. But it's all spammers and I guess one wrong click and surely my account will be hacked. I guess, I should hire an SEO consultant     instead for detailed information on how it really works. I've read some updates in my social networking site about this thing. For over three years in blogging, I got to learn few tips on how Google will keep my blog on top. There are in fact a lot of things to consider not only by simply updating my blogs. Basically, learning how HTML works and tweaking blogs should be the basic thing before you proceed to the next level.

Facebook Unavailable

"Your account is temporarily unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes."
I got this message when I opened my Facebook account this afternoon. I got worried of course because some of my friends site were hacked. I thought that a serious problem is up in my account, maybe infected or hacked too.

After few minutes of trying, still the same message pop out in my site. I tried to Google the issue for some people who might have encountered the same problem too. It says that I have nothing to worry about because FB is just updating my account, doing some maintenance or facing a bandwidth issues.

My site came back after ten or fifteen minutes. So I guess, there is nothing really serious when you encounter this kind of problem unless there is a bigger problem in your site. You may try to contact the support and let them know the issue in your account.

Btw, I just visited Lovingly Mama and guess what? There's a guessing game going on in her site. All I need to do is guess how many colored balls does Dindin have? And my guess is 98.

Draybers Band

It is not unusual sight when I'm outside the terrace of our house, seeing these rockers with their guitars in their rock outfit ready for their gigs.

I first saw Mike Yonting aka Mitoy in Eat Bulaga. He's a frequent guest in this noontime show. I know at first that he's a great performer and I became an instant fan and followed him on YouTube. The following day while I was at the salon near our house, I was surprised to see him. I didn't know that he and his band mates live in our neighborhood. I was to shy to ask him a picture so I just let that moment passed and contented myself in YouTube. I hope before they move into a new place, I'll be able to ask a picture with them. I can be a bloggerazzi but I guess it'd be better to take a souvenir pic. For now, I am sharing here their official MTV that I found on YouTube.

And here's another old video. You may also check Draybers - Love of Lifetime. Embed is not available, please check it out on You Tube. Just another excellent performance from Drayber's Band!

Please visit their official website at and catch them live at their gigs.

Watch Draybers' Band as they perform cover songs from foreign band and hits of 60s, 70s to 80s era.

Falcon is Ondoy-like Storm

There is no more signal but tropical storm Falcon still brings heavy rains in Manila. Falcon is expected to leave today heading its way to Japan. But according to PAGASA, the country may still experience heavy rains due to southwest monsoon.

The pictures above were taken last night before I switch off the light. I didn't actually get enough sleep to monitor the flood/rainfall. One more step in our stairways and the flood will surely enter the house. Anyways, I've learned my lesson since Ondoy. I have packed all my important things and placed them in a safe place. I prepared a battery operated radio just in case we experience black out again and a flashlight. We got no worries. We have enough stock of canned goods. The only thing that I'm scared now is deadly tornado. Other parts of Manila, particulary Kamuning and New Manila were totally damaged by tornado and it happened in 5 to 7 seconds.

I took this picture few seconds ago. The flood didn't subside, in fact the rain keeps pouring as of this moment. According to PAGASA, the amount of rainfall with Falcon is just one fifth of Ondoy but I think the flood that this storm brought us is comparable to Ondoy.

Manilenos will celebrate the occasion with ceremonies and other meaningful activities on the said date. Kudos Manilenos! Also June 24 is the day of nativity of St. John the Baptist. San Juan, Manila will celebrate the day by splashing of water on any passersby. It symbolizes the work of St. John's cleansing of original sin. In the southern part of Luzon, Balayan, Batangas, they celebrate the day with Parada ng Lechon. Street parties and splashing of water are also a part of the feast day.

Gold Investment

With the current global economic situation, I think you would all agree that an individual retirement account should be trusted in a secured and real investment. How would you feel if you reach your retirement age and your hard earned money has gone and devalued. People who invest in gold IRA are more stabled since the value of it never depreciates over the years. Retiring period is far more secured than investing in stocks, bonds, savings as IRA gold appreciates and it never devalues in time. Nobody wants to work for the rest of their life. You would never wish for your retirement funds to be drained up, don't you? It could be the worst nightmare if that happens. Don't let those things come your way. Retire and invest in gold 401k and have a peaceful mind and security during your retiring years.

As gold never devalues, many investors secured 401k gold because the price of it doubles in time. Simple fact about it is the appreciation of gold every year. In some cases like when you want a gold IRA transfer, seek an advise first from an expert or a trusted site. Some requirements are needed because funds that you are going to invest are the funds that will give you a life in your retiring years.

Web Hosting Features

If you are a non technical people and new into online business who would like to ask opinion from internet savvy about web hosting, definitely, you will seek recommendations first who had great experience in this field. I say this based on my own experience. Before getting the most reliable web hosting, I asked and made a study first for my sites. I got the cheapest yet reliable deal where I can call them anytime or submit a support ticket should I need to ask questions regarding my website at no extra cost. Their professional managed hosting answer all my queries immediately. Hence, I can do my online task and go smoothly with my business without getting myself into trouble and worried for any server problems.

Have you heard about colocation, a certain feature that big companies are using for their own server? Well this can be used by small to medium business too. You can choose either single or multiple colocation with this kind of hosting. What a great deal! You can have your own website hosting maintained at a remote hosting location. Isn't that a good start for your own online business too?

Maintaining a good website is just as easy both for internet savvy or challenged people. You just need to do a little research to stay on top of online business.

Green Monday: My daughter in Green

I love Green! Obviously, the template of my blog is green too. Anyways, I'm not featuring my blog here but my daughter. She looks pretty in green. (mom talking here by the way) Never mind about the messy hair, she's sporting a chic messy bun style and never care about it. Green is the coded color for sophomore students on days when they are not required to wear their uniform.

Jobs Opening up in Florida

It seems that the later part of 2011 will really turn around for the U.S. economy. For job-seekers looking for employment, there are numerous opportunities if you are persistent about looking for it online. I ran into this post about Infinity Dish a fortune 200 retailer looking to add 200 jobs within the next 2 years in Florida.

For those willing to relocate for employment, what a great place to work! Sunshine all year long to go along with exciting things to do seems to be an ideal place to relocate to. According to the Infinity Dish Facebook account, they also seem to be treating their employees well with incentives and programs that promote teamwork.

Reading through their updates, Infinity Dish also promotes a healthy lifestyle and have corporate events that allows employees to get active. Events include marathon runs and discounts through public transportation. Also, this seems to be a booming industry due to the demand for satellite TV because of the rise of HDTV sales.

We just wanted to pass this information along to you if you are looking for a position or even satellite TV service from Infinity Dish.

Green Monday: Weekend in Cavite

It feels good to be with nature for a while. It doesn't necessarily mean hiking or trekking or going into the wild. This was taken few months ago when we visited my sister in Cavite. We seldom visit them so whenever we have the chance, we spend at least a weekend to catch up with them and have some quality time together. During our stay, we walked to the muddy and greeny fields to reach the river which is just few meters away from their house. The river was quite muddy brown with the rain but still it was a pleasant sight in our eyes. We saw boys fishing and asked if could try for a while. It was not a lucky day for us. No fish bit the bait but kids enjoyed that little adventure anyway.

Never mind about the muddy river, it was all green after the rain.

Trade Show Exhibit

While more businesses and establishments are now on a holiday this Lenten Season, some are busy for early preparation of their trade show. There is no time or season of the year that trade shows are being held. It could be anytime of the year. Small or big business rely on this kind of marketing. There are quite a lot of things to consider in having a trade show from least to the the most important details. Other businesses that only start to participate sometimes experience frustrations and scared about the result of the show. Of course, it also involves a lot of money and sometimes they do not even know exactly how this exhibit at trade show works.

Trade Show Displays are the first thing to consider because visitors are quickly enticed by your product with the proper display. You need to coordinate with the organizer with regards to the type and tips about on how you will present your product to attract more customers. Outdoor Displays with a catch will mostly get more attention from customers. Every small details, such tables, electrical outlets, company handouts and giveaways are often overlooked. These could the least in your priorities but you never know the importance of these listings in your show. If not all, most people who attend a trade show expect some giveaways such as pens and goodies. So better include this in your list.

Girls Talk: Dying for Worn and Torn

I've been dying to have 501 but when I checked the outlet around the Metro, there was no available 501 jeans and styles are limited. So I ended up with another style but when I checked online, I found this worn and torn jeans and my eyes got locked and thought about buying this no matter what. I am dying to wear this but I need to slim down to get myself fit to this sexy jeans. This costs only $98 inspired by 501 original jeans and that will drain my PayPal account.

and another one. Cropped Trucker Jacket. But this is just a wish list. All the clothes that I want need a slim built. Now I am determined to get myself fit again, not as fit as Angelina Jolie. Just a little below my weight right now. (image source:

Updated: Husband bought me few pairs of Levi's and one pair exactly as shown style above. Weeee.. Thank you! This is the power of blogging. Haha. The only problem now is my size. :P

My Diet Area

I feel like I l just lost about six pounds on my weight this week. A friend just told me that I look like a woman who underwent cosmetic surgery or have attended any physical fitness program. Being sick for almost three days resulted my body to look slimmer with the pounds that I lose. I got no appetite but I tried so hard to eat fruits and vegetables and less carb like rice and bread. This is not what I wanted to achieve my desired weight. I've been longing to have a contour abs but not the way it is happening now. I am now recovering and when I get well, I will start my real diet right away. I want to keep fit in a healthier way.

I already had a week plan for my goal and that includes ample amount of fiber fruits, brisk walking in the morning and indoor exercise. At my age, I should clearly watch every food that I intake and involve myself into physical activities. My real goal does not focus alone into a slimmer body but I need to avoid fatty foods to become fit and healthy.

Buying a New Printer

Our printer has not been working for almost six months now. I thought about buying a new one last year but since we seldom use it, I prolong the plan and bought another computer accessories instead. I am glad that there is no hassle anymore in purchasing online. I can do it in one click with all the options that I want. No sweating, no long lines at the counter and no irate staff to assist me anymore. All I need to do is choose the model unit and the specifications needed. I was thinking a while ago about Conquest Printing. My older daughter is an incoming Junior Student this school year and she is expecting a lot more printing projects this year. My neighbor who just bought a printer few weeks ago strongly suggests to go online and select the options that I want. I should believe her of course. She owns a computer shop and buys all her accessories online.

Just Beautiful #1

We were invited to attend at teenage Candy Fashion Show few weeks ago at Megamall. A blogger friend Jen and I had picture at the Barkada of the Month sponsored by Carefree. The audience of the said event were mostly teenagers and girls between 20 to 25. Anyways, we gave our best pose and.. tada (that's my best) we got this shot. Candy Fashion Show tagged me in my FB account. I felt awkward when I viewed their album, all teenage barkadas in a row. I should have hid myself with a mascara. Haha. Anyways, I love the output of the photo. Just Beautiful. Teehee. I did not take heavy dose of boosting vitamins this morning that lead me to publish this entry. Half Kidding. This is my first time to join Just Beautiful meme which is up every Wednesday. Did I follow the step? There is no theme for this meme. Just post any picture that you think is beautiful. Places, things and even yourself.

Vacation Destination

We're spending our vacation at home right now. We're supposed to have a lengthy vacation but look at us now, we're home turning green with people heading down to beach, resort or hotel. Airport terminals around the metro were already building traffic while tickets were already sold out. Everybody is heading their way to their vacation destinations. We just arrived yesterday after spending our weekend in our home province. Today is the start of supposed vacation, ours just came earlier. Grand Cayman vacation is on my mind right now and wish that I can spend some time there with my family too, dreaming of spending a night in private villa and try some water sports. Many people are wishing for some unwinding moment and I am just one of them who wish for even a simple vacation before summer vacation ends.

Choosing Gifts

It is good to give gifts during holidays but it is better if you give gifts that are personalized. You know that a giver carefully chose the gifts on her list when she exerted a little effort in choosing the present. Last Christmas season, some of the gifts I received were goods, cake and some bottles of wine neatly packed in wine bottle bags. It gave me an idea to choose gifts of this kind by next holiday. Truly I was impressed with my friend who gave me that gift. Certainly, she's a sweet and thoughtful lady. She chose the gifts that she thinks suit best for me.

There are a lot of holidays to look forward to like birthdays, anniversaries, mother's day, among many others. She just gave me an idea on what to give for more of the coming events. It also helps if you know the choice of a particular individual and you don't have to go for expensive gifts. It is a matter of planning ahead of time. If you plan to purchase online, then allow enough time for the delivery of your items.

Girls Talk: A Big Fan of Arnel Pineda

I am a big fan of Arnel Pineda! When I learned about GT's theme this week, I thought about posting only one celebrity in my mind, Arnel Pineda! Thanks to Girl's Talk for the chance to shout to the world that I adore him, not only with his talent in singing but also his big heart to help the street children. My eyes turned green with envy when Pehpot attended an event where she was able to meet Arnel Pineda in person. Aside from his singing career, he is also busy with Arnel Pineda Foundation, Inc., founded by Arnel Pineda himself with his goal to help less fortunate kids.

Please check BeautyQueenieGene for more entry with the same theme, Biggest Fan!
