I was in the mood cooking pata paksiw three days ago, but was so lazy to take photo of it. sorry! Anyways, I will just share photos the next time I cook again pata.
Here's my recipe:
Ingredients: pata (pork leg), 2 tbsp vinegar, 6 gloves garlic, 2 pieces laurel leaf, Del Monte pineapple chunks, bulaklak ng saging, corn starch, soy sauce, brown sugar, iodized salt, peppercorns.
Clean the pork leg, let it boil once and throw the first boil stuff to eliminate the smell of pork leg.
Procedure: Add water, vinegar, garlic, laurel leaf, soy sauce, iodized salt, brown sugar and peppercorns. Boil until tender. After few minutes, add Del Monte pineapple chunks. In a separate bowl, mix about three tablespoon cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Add a little salt and more water as desired.
