Webhosting Review

Internet business is booming these days, thus online job is dominating now. Blogging is one online activity where one can share her knowledge aside from earning from this hobby. I have been a stay at home mom for years now and blogging gave me more opportunities to meet more friends and earn money online too. I have been encouraging my sister to open a website of her own where she can share all her knowledge through blogs. I believe that she will be a good blogger not only because she's employed in a publishing company but she expresses herself well and that would be enough to start a blog of her own. A webhostinghub review will help her open a website and this is a good option to start a business online.

The site will help her understand the features so she can start small business right now. She's so eager to open a website that she even made a research and found this user friendly site. What a great way to start a business for a newbie like her. I am am glad that she won't bug me anymore to help her open the site. The site itself have this tutorial service that would help her get through the process. I am confident that in no time she'll earn a rank in her website and she can start to make money online too.

emo girl, then and now..

I must admit I used to be overly emo girl before that I have to open a private blog just to express my feelings inside aside from expressing it verbally. If you hear me delivering my script of my daily drama, you would probably laugh at my style. But that was then. Although, I am a little bit stable with my emotions now, I honestly admit emo girl still lives in me at times. As the woman ages, she becomes stable too but not really me. Oh yes, maybe a little bit mature now. So to sum up, nothing really change then and now. :)

Insure Your Life

Health Insurance is very important. Not all people know the importance of insurance until they get sick or hospitalized. They think insurance is an option for a living where they can have an insurance if they want or they can ignore and go on with their living without it. That's what they really think about insurance. The truth is, insurance is a must for everyone. They should ensure themselves for any possible or unforeseen financial trouble like an accident. There are many things to consider in acquiring a policy. Affordability and and the coverage should be reviewed before getting a policy. While insurance is extremely important, it is also very important that you choose an insurance not because it is affordable and lot cheaper when you compare with other company selling insurance. We need to be reminded that in getting insurance, the cheapest are not always the best, so better to ask more quotes from different company. You can also ask a quote from Temecula Health Insurance to know their coverage and policy. We never know what lies ahead us so better get one that would insure us and would not put us into a very crucial condition. The cost of getting insurance means cutting unnecessary expenses or luxuries in our life and at the same time saving for more money to avoid serious financial problem in the future.

Gardening as a Hobby

Gardening is such a fulfilling hobby. Aside from the benefits of making our house look beautiful, it also brings money to some who puts gardening as hobby and eventually turn this hobby into business. Personally, I want to have my own garden and grow some orchids but to have it in an urban place like ours is impossible. I envy my sister who lives in a place where she can grow different flowery plants or fruit bearing plants like lemon or tomato. When I visited her last summer, I really appreciate the simplicity of life that she had. I love the idea of picking fresh flowers or fruits from my own garden too.

One thing that I noticed with my sister is that, she had no gardening clothing to protect herself from any harm. I think it is a must to have work boots too. I couldn't stand seeing her stepping on some unidentified objects. I am so scared of worms that are crawling in the ground but I so love gardening. If I have a garden of my own, I will definitely buy work gloves first. I hate it when I touch worms hiding in the leaves, thorns of some flowers and natural fertilizer that leaves a stinky smell in hands.

cooking fiesta paksiw pata

I was in the mood cooking pata paksiw three days ago, but was so lazy to take photo of it. sorry! Anyways, I will just share photos the next time I cook again pata.

Here's my recipe:

Ingredients: pata (pork leg), 2 tbsp vinegar, 6 gloves garlic, 2 pieces laurel leaf, Del Monte pineapple chunks, bulaklak ng saging, corn starch, soy sauce, brown sugar, iodized salt, peppercorns.

Clean the pork leg, let it boil once and throw the first boil stuff to eliminate the smell of pork leg.

Procedure: Add water, vinegar, garlic, laurel leaf, soy sauce, iodized salt, brown sugar and peppercorns. Boil until tender. After few minutes, add Del Monte pineapple chunks. In a separate bowl, mix about three tablespoon cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Add a little salt and more water as desired.

audi for sports car

I stopped by in a mall and dropped my entries last week for a grand promo event. Grand prize to be won is a sports car. I am hoping to win the grand prize even if the chance of winning is very slim. A consolation prize will be okey for me too. Gift check worth two thousand bucks awaits 10 winners to win the consolation prize. Anyways, when I look down into the showroom, I drooled over with the Sports Car. How I wish to win the grand prize. I already have idea in my mind on what to do if ever I'll be one lucky participant to have it. I will definitely look right away for Audi Dealership. Audi will add more sophisticated look to a sports car.

Right now, I kept on dropping my entries hoping that more entries will give me more chance to win the grand prize. My blogging income, even if I save every cents of it, will not be enough to buy a car. That's the truth, no exaggeration. Maybe I can only buy a high end gadget and I'll blog it when I buy that from my online earnings.

Weekend on the Patio

As I was busy with my household chores this morning, daughter was online having conversation with her grandma/pa and aunt in LA. Since the weather is getting hotter in their place, they went outside the house and chose to stay in patio. I sneaked into my daughter's laptop and found out that they're having good times outside. I noticed that they have a very good patio but they lack of Patio Covers to control pounding heat and direct damage brought by the heat of the sun. They also need Patio Table Covers so to enjoy more of their outdoor experience.

It is summer in LA and surely their stay outside will be more frequent. Best if they provide Patio Chair Covers so they can be more relaxed and stay even late at night to enjoy fresh air and moonlight. I did not ask the temperature outside, but I know even without asking, that summer still brings great experience for them. I still love the warm tropical weather in our place. Although we experience rainy and sunshiny day, we do not have extreme weather condition like freezing cold winter and melting hot summer here.

let go of toys

Just a little break from my weekend general cleaning. Sorting out toys that I think my daughter will not be needing anymore. These are just few of her toys that I found out in a box. Some old stuffs were donated already. I asked her to pick toys that we can give to children who would be happy to receive an early Christmas gift. Other toys were already handed down to her little cousins. Honestly, I can't let go other things that brings back of their childhood years. Am I just being sentimental? Why they seem not to appreciate these anymore. Are they grown up already? By letting go of these, other children will be more than happy to receive these toys.

Instructional Videos

I was searching for some videos on how to lessen the stress of my pet dog and timely found this instructional videos on how to provide Doga or dog's yoga. We treat our dog just like a member of the family, well pampered and loved. I wonder how our dog would feel after giving him doga. He would probably feel more relaxed, friendlier and sweeter after this treat. How come, I only knew it today.

More how to videos are posted in the website and I think this is what I really need now. I've learned more tricks and proper way to treat our pet. Just this morning, I saw my daughter pampered our dog with yoga and said that later this afternoon, she and her pet will have a walk and will practice this activity everyday. Oh well, there are lots of videos in the website aside from taking care of your pets, so check it out now.

Mommy Moments

My two girls are now grown up so we never visit amusement park anymore. Whenever we spend our weekends at mall, we usually proceed to bookstore, dress shop or music store. They already changed their preference, but I miss those days when I have to carry them and patiently wait for our turn to buy tickets or token for rides. I'm joining MM this week to share those moments. Time flies so fast. It's like only three years ago and look now, I felt those days were not enough and still want to see them in Merry Go Round rides..

Engagement Rings and Diamonds

Girls love to wear precious diamonds. How would you feel if you receive this precious stone from someone you've been engaged for a long time? It could be overwhelming but I never ever dreamed of receiving a diamond ring because I know for sure, nobody will give me one. I'll be more than satisfied even just a simple ring with my own stone, sapphire. But I think even with this stone is impossible. Maybe I can have one if buy it as a gift for myself. How lucky are those women to receive this ultimate symbol of forever love, diamonds!

Ladies love to receive an engagement rings. It represents warm and passionate feeling of man and woman who are both in love. Spending thousands of dollars for diamond justified the real value of this gem, so rare and precious. One classic way and I think the sweetest too is give diamond solitaires as an engagement ring. Because of this much praise item, one needs an expert guidance on diamond since thousands of dollars here are involved. There is no doubt why diamonds are girls best friend and that they are meant to last forever.

Mentally Speaking

I have nothing to brag about myself mentally here. I think I am just an average thinker. I am just an average student from elementary to college, so there is no root to track back for me to become excellent. For now, I will keep my bragging moment in silence and just content myself reading your mentally entries. I've been nose bleeding lately and I can't stand anymore to spread this and get to the extent of ear bleeding. By my intro, you know that something is mentally bothering me while doing this post.

I am More than Just an Average SAHM. (plugging). I am always quick in getting things done for my kids, yeah, smart in parenting aspect. I am not a perfect mom, but I am doing my very best in my job to be a great mom. (segue my way)

I can handle different storms in life and stand strong even in the toughest life's situation. My mind is very quick in finding solution even during chaotic times.

Business Card

During first Parents Association meeting in secondary level, I got to meet other parents in the class. I still recognized other moms who were also my co-parents last school year. Other parents who were busy had their own representative or secretary to attend the meeting. First part of the meeting was introducing ourselves. Second part was appointment of officer. One criteria to be qualified as president of association must be a stay at home mom. And why? To be able to attend series of meetings and available 24/7. All SAHM were asked to stand up. One mom volunteered to be the president. Since we only knew each other for a couple of minutes, we never had a formal election then. We all agreed to close the appointment for this mom who volunteered herself as the president of association. When the meeting was done, I went home and list down names of parents with whom I can talk to for any future school events. I remembered only few of them, old faces and those who gave me their business cards.

I realized the importance of having a business card even if you are small time businesswoman or you're into marketing, or can I just include this? Blogger. Business card is a formal way to introduce yourself. Now I thought of recommending a business card printing for this mom who is now our president. If I remember it clearly, she got no business card or maybe she had but forgot to give me one.

Johnson & Johnson's Bedtime Believers Awards

I have attended once in Eastwood from that four series of Johnson & Johnson's Bedtime Discoveries so for the last event, I knew it will be exciting. As early as 8am, I left home and took the cab to get me there at exact time but arrived a little late because of unexpected traffic along the way. (unusual traffic on weekend, huh!) The venue was held at Aquaknox Restaurant, Arnaiz Avenue, cor. Amorsolo St., San Lorenzo, Makati. I haven't been in that place but I was familiar with the landmark and got there with no hassle at all.

Ms. Caren Bayhon-Yrastorza, former news anchor and TV commercial talent hosted the event.
After full breakfast, (I had clubhouse sandwich) awarding of deserving moms followed right away.

And here are the mommies who received the awards:

Science of Sleep Award was given to Mommy Cow of Mommy Cow, Whole Lotta Mommy Drama

Bedtime Believer Magic of You Award was given to our very own BC Blogger founder Paula of Happy Thoughts Happy Tot but she was not around to receive the award.

True Bedtime Believer Award to Pehpot of Make or Break.

Just before the event started, I was able to hop to Peh and Fedhz who were at the mezzanine floor. You guys got the coolest in your place, you had your breakfast well. :)

I grabbed the photo opps from above. :)

Below is Tetcha of Pensive Thoughts with her pretty sister. I went there alone and was late but luckily one seat beside Tetcha was unoccupied. Thanks, I was able to get there just before breakfast was served.

I was just as excited, just like the feeling of winning an award too.

We really love Johnson's Baby products and my kids rushed to see what I have took home for them. My children grew up with Johnson's products and they really help them fall asleep easily, with the massage, the coolness.. and truly, Johnson's products are for moms like me too! My kids had enough massage when they were still young, and until now Johnson's helps them get to sleep better. True enough, my kids get enough sleep when they were still babies and I believe it helps them become smart kids today.

Thanks Nuffnang Philippines for the invite. I love everything, the food, freebies, souvenir and fun meeting again co-bloggers. To all mommy awardees, congrats! You all deserved the awards!

i am just a good cook, not an econo wife

My thought overflows with dreams that someday I'll become rich with no worries to pay for the bills, rentals and tuition fees. Husband works in a pharmaceutical company but as the income becomes higher, more spending need comes along too. We only have enough for our monthly expenses or sometimes we even experience short budget at the end of the month and that makes me tightening the belt a little bit tighter so that both ends meet before our next allowance. So, this entry is a protest to husband too. I know he checks my update from time to time. I am trying very hard to be thrifty to save a little amount from our monthly budget but I am sorry, I am just a good cook and not an econo wife. And please don't ask how much is my blogging income. What's mine is mine. Lol. Half kidding. Oh BTW, thanks even though I haven't received our allowance yet, it is one day delayed already.

For my blogging income, I don't ask husband anymore for other unexpected and expected expenses. I can go to salon without asking him extra budget for monthly self maintenance. I can even buy stuffs like shoes or bags for me and my kids at my own blogging earnings. I don't even ask anymore for our weekend getaways, malling or other unexpected school expenses. To husband, are you not proud of your wife? It's a big savings in your end.

Is it summer yet?

In some parts of the world, summer has just started. Here in Manila, though rainy season has officially begun, we still feel the heat of summer sometimes. It rains occasionally but not pouring much. I'm sharing here the video of Shine On. I've already posted this in my previous entry as my official summer theme song and been playing this on and on, just missing summer so much.

Open up ya eyes and watch the sunrise
One part of me I've been made clear
Love that goes spread all the world
My love ya comes out of devotion
To rull ya spread to the world
In strange town I'm on my mission
Where we praise the day straight our way
All the nation

Let me be the love that comes form the sun
Let me be your rainbow rising on
Every single rase out of space
Will Shine on, shine on!

Let me be the love that comes from the sun
I wanna be your love light from above
Shine on, shine on, shine on!

My love ya comes out of devotion
To rull ya spread to the world
In strange town I'm on my mission
Where we praise the day straight our way
All the nation

Let me be the love that comes form the sun
Let me be your rainbow rising on
Every single raise out of space
Will Shine on, shine on!

Let me be the love that comes from the sun
I wanna be your love light from above
Shine on, shine on, shïne on!

School Day

School days are here again. My little girl is now on her fourth grade in school. For her schooling is fun. The picture I am sharing here was taken when she was in her pre-school during field trip to Rizal in Calamba. Jill is a very smart girl. She always make sure that all her things are ready before going to school.

And this is my older daughter. I still remember when she got her first award, Best in English during her pre school year. I've mentioned in my previous post above her exam result last year where she got a superior grade in English. I'm just so proud of her and as usual this is mom blogging. Her photo below was taken last year.
She just told me yesterday that she joined the Outreach Program in school. Activities that she's involved are reaching out to less fortunate kids and share some blessings they'd raise from donations and organizations. I just love to hear her devotion on helping to other people in need. I know in her own little way, she can share and inspire other people in the program that she's into now. As always, I'm the proudest mom ever.

I thought I couldn't make it today. And why shouldn't I miss this? Exciting theme "physically", nice badge to grab, pilot episode, new home and house warming. Besides, it's the time in my blogging career (as in career) to brag about myself. Lol.

Let's begin with my body. Oh no! do I really have to blog this? Anyways, my stomach is bulging out but I'm working for it right now. I got two kids already and so you really should expect that. (sounds bitter) I stand just a little mm above 5 feet. Sporting a long hair. Butt? I think I got a nice butt. All bloggers are. haha. Nose, small and cute. Eyes? black and I think one of my asset too. Small, round and angelic face. You may ask the bloggers in our last week's meet-up. lol. I think they will all agree here. I hope I didn't exagg myself here. That's how I see myself, aging beautifully. lol.

Beautiful Kaye is the new host of this weekly meme! Congrats Kaye for the pilot episode! It's a big hit in blogniverse!!

the versatile blogger

Oh my, another award for me. It just keeps my day up receiving an award like this. I just can't believe it that I am being tagged as "The Versatile Blogger." Thanks so much Wenn for the award. I really appreciate it.

Bloggers, you may grab the award. I think you're all amazing not just versatile blogger.

Here's seven random facts about myself.

  • Because I abused my crowning glory before, I am now spending much with my hair, visiting salon for hair mud and hair protein regularly. It isn't as shiny and black as you might think. I just have to maintain to revive my hair the way it used to be.
  • Going to Batanes is my ultimate dream. Biking or just sitting on top of the hill in Batanes is my exact meaning of absolute peace.
  • My everyday mornings starts with a cup of coffee, watch early morning show, coffee, prepare children for school, clean the house, refresh myself, online..
  • I love sleeping in a hammock under the tree.
  • I once aspire to be a FA but ended as cabin stewardess in Greece. Not far though. Lol. I was an expert in table setting and mixing wine. Today, I hardly remember anything not even recalling different kinds of wine.
  • I stand only a little above 5" no more no less and was too ambitious to be FA. lol
  • I worked in marketing related companies for almost ten years until I resigned and became a SA WAHM. (Stay and Work at Home Mom)
